The name of this ring "Cathedral Euro Shank" comes from the Cathedral shape of the top of the ring that slopes up as well as the Euro shank (the part on the bottom that is more squared off). This gives it a more clean and modern look than your average solitaire ring.
This style of ring can be adapted for any size and shape stone. As shown, the ring features a very hefty 4mm width that is very thick and solid, however a 2.5mm version of this ring not made as heavy is available for around half the price. Please call for more details.
